Subject: Sand Giant -- too good?

Would them making the Sand Giant A) Bold &/or B) +5 DMG when under command have resulted in a broken mini? Or would it have freed LG from the shackles of Couatl/Marut? I like the idea and think it give LG the "team" flavor.

I really like the Sand Giant he did well for me at the pre release. I want badly to use him, but it seems there are better options available. If he did 5 more damage he would be worth trying to fit into a competitive warband. As of now he costs too much for his damage out put.


Come on WotC just give him five more damage.

The Sand Giant is the new and improved Stone Giant. In both cases, it's hard to justify the points in very competitive play. If you've got a big event, and lots of people are playing "for fun" bands, then playing a Sand Giant might be nice.

I would agree, the point cost on this guy is just to much for what you get. I think there are other pieces that could be more valuable.
