| You have to think that with the HGB's running around amok....that the greencloak would be seeing lots of action......That extra damage can go a long way.
4x15pts give 8 activations for 60 points. Slinging 8 arrows for 10 damage each at that monster....every round.
Now you have 140 points to spend on whatever you need to defeat them!
Too bad they SUCK against everything else!

| I assume you mean Graycloak...or is it Greycloak...I can never remember the best way to spell that.
Anyway, its always amusing to see creatures that a few months ago were on many peoples top 5 to-be-banned lists be labeled as "SUCK-ing" now.
I think the GCR is still a reasonable addition to warbands in limited numbers - certainly never more than 2. With the additional things that the Steelheart and Stalker bring, I'd probably never run with more than 1, opting for one of the others. | | Rhane "The focus is sharp in the city..." | | The Greycloak Ranger still gives you that extra activation which can be even more important under the 8 figure limit.

| I've been thinking about trying out the following, but haven't played much recently:
IM 2 FB 2 Graycloak Rikka 2 Xeph 2 wolves of some kind (or 1 Wolf, 1 Timber Wolf? One should be tile grabbing, but the other one should be fighting, and that might actually want a higher save...)
Running more than 8 activations is becoming increasingly rare these days, and shouldn't be forgotten. This might be good vs dual HGB, but I'm absolutely not sure. For map I guess I'd use Dragon Temple, so the FBs can have a chance vs HHs.

Yes...of course the GRAYcloak!
If you go against the Marut or the Helmed Horrors (anything with DR) then you are really not going to do well....
Maybe someone will be brave enough to run the Ghaele Eladrin with 4 Graycloaks and a Goliath or something....that is a lot of possibilities of rolling 19s and 20s.....plus the legion's magic weapon would really come in handy for those two figures especially!
You have to think that this would ruin a 2xHGB day....the giants can't base EVERYBODY! | | A wand of silence means never having to say you're sorry. CHAMPION OF THE ANNIS HAG!!!
