| Hello all! I was just thinking that it would be cool to see what everyone's favourite Epic band to play was. I like using Aspect of Kord, anlong with Champion of Eilastraee or Brass Samurai. The warband sometimes ends up being:

| I have to say I like LG for epic warbands right now. It's got some of the strongest pieces for the format and a nice variety as well. This includes Rikka and Aspect of Kord via the Coautl. As for what my favorite combination is that's hard to say. There's so many choices that I can't just pick one.

| My favorite is absolutely Epic Elminster+dual Archmage+filler spellcasters (usually just a Elf Pyro).
Very fun to play. Epic El is a beast!
But I'd love to try out Epic Soth + beaters or beholders (can't decide). | |

Was it designed to beat all comers? Nope. Was it lots of fun to have two large dragons out there? Yup. And because our players rarely bring highly tuned killer warbands, I ended up winning. I even beat a Beholder, Epic Soth, Aspect of Hextor, Chraal band with it.

| | I'm fond of the combination of Epic Kord and the Dragon Totem Hero (Epic or not) on the Teleport Temple map. The high mobility with that map combined with the ability to move before making all 3 attacks is fun. Just add Crow Shamans, and maybe Epic Rikka and its pretty solid. | |

| This is what I'm trying at a tourney this week -- probably crash and burn, but it will be fun:
Sword Archon
Couatl
Mephling Pyromancer
Mounted Paladin x 2
Marut (non-epic)
Arcane Ballista
Dwarf Artificer
497 points, 8 activations
All the hitters (including the Ballista) benefit from the Archon's CFx (Fearless gets +5 damage); the Mephling (brought in by the Couatl) casts Fly on the Mounted Pallys, who then proceed to flying Mounted Melee Attack (no AoO!) with charging and Smites as appropriate. Everyone but the Archon can operate the Ballista in a pinch (even the Marut's technically a spellcaster), The Couatl has multiple targets for Snake's Swiftness, and the Dwarf is there for the AC buff, GMW on the Ballista or Marut, and to hurt enemy Constructs. | |

| Helzapoppn, that is similar to my idea for a 500 point as well.
My flying mounted paladins had 2 mounted paladins, 2 mephlings, 1 CoDA, Couatl, and Epic Rikka.
But I think I like yours a little better. Everyone's a caster is quite a nice idea and may actually make the Ballista work. If only there was a way to move it around so it could get its shots in.

| | I love the eilistraee but I think she is overcosted for her power and the strongest creatures do not need her CFX even its one of the most useful at first sight.The centaur hero is not a tier 1 because it has poor HP,but not a bad mini in my opinion,indeed.Simply,he can be replaced.Rask?Why?For the same cost you can add another berserker instead him.The crow is a must,but the renegade is poor.Try a nebbin, you will see better results. | |

| a fun one i played the other day
ended up losing init and ended on teleport temple but i still won.. even with crapy rolls against beholders! :(
