One of my favourites minis is the arcane archer.I know she,s completely useless like an archer and like a commander too,but...I wan to play her and even win.Have you play her succesfully anytime? What is her best warband?

She may be best in epic play matched with a Storm Giant. The Velnar Commander (sp) may give more freedom to chose shots but the AA does allow you to shot a commander hiding behind a blocker.

In 200pt play she just costs too much for what is gained. This is especially true when she is compared to other archery commanders.

Too expensive in a 200pt warband.
I won an epic tourny at gencon-UK 2004 with a Storm Giant & Arcane archer.
Though the Storm Giant now seems to have more strong options than you can fit in a 500pt warband.
Don't worry about the current metagame. It doesn't matter if it's ugly, bad, or the best ever. In 2 years time, set rotation will ban everything.
