| quote: Here’s a quick overview of the sequence of play. A game is played in rounds. During each round, you take the following steps.
1. Make an Initiative Check: Roll the d20. High roller chooses who moves first.
2. First Player: Move your creature (called “activating”).
3. Second Player: Move your creature.
4. End of Round: After all creatures have moved, start a new round at step 1.
this is a quote from the quick start, lets say that 4 players each have 5 creatures and then player 3 loses two creatures. Does player 3 have to sit out two activations in the rest of the current round because the other players have more creatures to activate than player 3? it says after all creatures have moved you start a new round. | | Thanks, realmaster. Let's split up!!!!!

| | Keep in mind activations are two creatures per player as you alternate if possible. | | Champion of Cyclops

| Think of a round as an amount of time. In the D&D RPG a round represents about 6 seconds. Each creature's activation represents the action it takes in that amount of time. All of the stuff that happens within a round is happening at the same time, more or less.
If each player moved their 5 figures, and player 3 moved 3 figures once, and then two of those figures again in the same round, it would be like those 2 creatures were able to take 12 seconds of action within 6 seconds.
Obviously, this is impossible unless you are Chuck Norris, or within the Matrix.
Hope that helps you understand the sequence. | | Champion of the Revenant Knight of the Elf Duskblade Complete Trades: Oni, Kidkach, Melrune, callidusx3 | |

Dual activation translates either the quickness ability that grants an extra move action per round(Choker), a dervish dance which allows a character to make a full attack while moving (Fire Genasai Dervish), a creature that just plain does a lot in a round (Beholder) or in the case of Artemis Entreri, Spring Attack and dual wielding with a lot of attacks.
