| As part of the prize I got a Large Astral Construct, so has any one got a good warband to use him?
Or has he been proven to be tier 2?
Comments on the LAC?

| try it, with a good comander like Storm, who is durable. Another commander to take in count are: Greenfang druid, Dark Traveler or a fearless one like Lion of Talisid but no one of this CFx are good for it.
Another interesting commander with usable comander effect could be: Dragon totem Hero, but i believe Moon Elf Figther is the best for him:
Moon Elf Figther 49 Large Astral Construct 43 Shadow dancers x 3 84 23 points for 3 fodders (Eberk adventurer 16, timber wolf 5, Xeph Warrior 3)
Cmd 5 with good AC 22, HP 65. and a good CFX. Just protect good your comander.

| I played a pretty fun band the other day went something like this...
Lyrander Skyfire Captain 2 x Large Astral Construct Gnome Trickster Halfling Wizard Mailee Bat familiar(tied to LSC)
One of the constructs became a stout beater after all the during and immediately after set-up stuff. The other was probably a waste of points that could have been better spent elsewhere. But the band was a lot of fun to play. Should have seen the other guys face when I told him that the one construct was hitting for 17/17/17 and doing 15 magic + 5 fire, and had an AC of 21.
I think their biggest drawback is the 70 hp with only a 19 base AC. Heal them somehow or give them both a boost in AC and Attack and they could become decent.

| | The astral construct is a good piece because mainly it is vesataille. He can be effectively played on many different maps. Thieves Quarters...Give him flight Kings Road....Give him ac Thats his forte, depending on what map and band that he plays against he can buff himself accordingly. | | VENDELPHIAN CHAMPION OF ELDEVERE

| | There isn't a tough enough commander to tie the LAC to. Every other faction has a large titan unit with 100+ HP that can be tied to requires commander units. CG doesn't and the majority of the tougher commanders they do have aren't that hard to beat down. Once there is a really solid commander to use, I'll give the LAC some more thought. | | | |

| | Storm Silverhand could probably give the LAC a decent showing (just because she herself is so good), as long as everyone else isn't bringing totally killer warbands. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |
