I remember a while back someone was going to make a program to generate random encounters using the minis.

Anyone know if this was ever done? and if not, does anyone know where I can find compiled D&D stats for the minis so I can make one?

I was going to do this, but after the initial analysis of what people wanted, it turns out there are some highly unrealistic expectations out there for how easy it would be to program. I probably will still produce a program, but I'm not working to any deadline...

I can get you the stats if you'd like... just let me know what you are looking for.

John

Vesivus, if you could get me the stats that would be awesome... especially if they are in some form of table format =)

I would like to have all the info on the RPG side of the cards if that is possible????

What do you mean by unrealistic expectations?

Maybe this excel sheet is helpful http://www.bggfiles.com/viewfile.php3?fileid=10320

It's made by me for use with "Dungeon Bash" which is basically simplified D&D I play with my daughter. You enter your mini-list and generate a semi-random encounter table from EL 1/4 and up. You can theme the tables by type (e.g. one table with animal encouters).

Sorry Maxminis - find me at Hordelings from sep. 14 2006

Hey there.

I don't have the RPG stats. A good site for that (just getting going) is:

The "customizability" of how to generate an encounter, combined with the fact that they'd be virtually unwilling to pay anything for it. I run my own store, so my time is a finite precious quantity right now, so spending 50+ hours programming up a utility is not worth it if It's free. :)

Hope that explains it a bit?
