| It's an introductory module for beginning PCs and players. It's really quite good about walking the DM through exactly how to run it, but it leaves quite a bit open ended as well. For instance, most of the treasure and that sort of thing is not listed, but they give tips on what type of treasure to give (or at least how much.)
It looks to me like it will be good for 2-4 sessions...and at least 1 level gain.
minor spoilers:
the basic rundown is that a town is having some problems with local orcs and the PCs need to get to the bottom of it. First is a small dungeon to introduce dungeons to players. In the dungeon, the players are to uncover some cool stuff that should help them with the orcs.
The 2nd part is the orcs, but it's not just battling the orcs (though there will be a bit of that too.) The PCs are expected to masquerade as orcs themselves in order to get the inside scoop on what the orcs are up to, so that the town is ready for them.
It looks like a pretty good module to me, but then, I have no real frame of reference. It's definitely geared towards exposing both the players and the DM to a little of everything. The book itself is like 80 pages, so it's quite a read, I'm still not even through reading it (that's like a friggin novel!) | |

| What looks good to you is good enough. If it looks good to you, then obviously it has tickled some aspect to your liking so by running it, you'll more than likely enjoy doing so. And that's kindof the whole point.
