I just took and passed the Herald-Level test.
IIRC they send you a card in the mail, but it will take 4-6 weeks.

Yeah, if you goto an RPGA event, they'll get you a number, but since you took the DM test, I think now you already have a number but need to wait for them to get it to you. I /think/.

| I did the test also. Quick and easy way to join. I had to take the test twice, because one of the questions had an incorrect answer (IMO) specifically, the question about the light radius cast by a sunrod. The required answer was 60 ft bright + 60 ft shadowy, whereas the good old book say 30ft bright and 60ft shadowy. Then again, maybe there is an errata I missed. | | I have always been here. | |

| Was the question talking about an elf? They double their light ranges. [:)]

Actually, when I took the test a few weeks ago, there were two other questions in the Herald level test database that were incorrect or seriously flawed.
It's kind of a pain in the [:0] when you happen to hit those questions as one of the last few you need to answer to get through the 20 questions and then need to start over.
There's a question using the Magmin that ignores the fact that they have DR, and there's a question that asks about activities that require a skill check at a specific DC and all of the lists of things as answers have one or more that are not skill checks.
I sent an email to Ian Richards, and hopefully those will be corrected or removed soon. You might want to do the same for the Sunrod question.

Merric is right. I remember the sunrod question. It was the elf's vision that you forgot to account for. The question in the DB is correct. | | H/W List | Reference Thread | My Ebay Feedback Page Promo 2/22 - Harbinger 48/80 - Dragoneye 38/60 - Archfiends 36/60 - Giants 61/72 - Abberations 53/60 Deathknell 50/60 - Angelfire 36/60 - Underdark 8/60 - Wardrums 31/60 | |

| | I know what you meant about the skill test... every one of them had something that was a reflex save or something else other than a skill check. I found it rather annoying. I just passed the test and a got an error twice. It said the answer that I gave was incorrect and then repeated a question that wasn't what I just answered. It was annoying. I was either a glitch or I double clicked "Submit" | | "Are you not entertained?"

| I took the test less than a month ago, and got my card in the Mail this week...
Did you guys who took the test "twice" have your books open in front of you?!
I don't play 3.5 (though I own the books), and frankly am not a rule memorizer... took me about 20 tries to get through, but then, I didn't have my books with me at the time...

| Man, I didn't have my books when I took it. Decided it use it as a learning exercise. Seemed like a good excuse to explain why I got so many wrong.
