2" to a side is large. 3" to a side is huge. I believe 4" to a side is colossal, and 5" to a side is colossal. However, there are various combinations when you get that big. There are long (like a horse) and tall versions (like a giant humanoid). They cover different areas and have different reaches. | |

Isnt that only in 3.0?
I thought in 3.5 all monster had a square base no matter how big. | |

The only thing that being long vs. tall governs in 3.5 is a beasties reach, not base size and reach like in 3.0. | |
