| | I'll probably pick up this book this weekend, but until then, you see anything in there that would pertain to a soulknife, most specifically a Kalashar. | | Champion of the Beholder and Beholderkin

| Not so much Kalashtar or Soulknife specific, more geared towards the psion class, a new psionic artificer class, psychic warforged and psi powers. Plus Psionic feats.

Psionic artificer? I kind of juryrigged one in the past its nice to know we have rules for one now. I really like playing psionic characters i'm glad the Magic of Eberron offers more support for them. One more reason for me to pick the book up.

I just purchased Magic of Eberron and spent a bit of my weekend reading through it. I love the setting, so this book was a natural purchase for me. There are an abundance of usefull new spells, PrC's and feats. There are also many new locations mapped out in the book, similar to the Explorer's Handbook (which I also really enjoyed). If anyone has any questions I'd be happy to answer them, I don't really have time to write a review as such.
My initial impression is very favorable, if you like the setting it's a good purchase.
I wasn't that impressed with Explorers. I like the setting but the book seemed to be a mixed bag of a bunch of stuff that skimmed the surface... plus the price. I'll but Magic of Eb but I'm more wary about buying books.. I have all the complete books.

Its not just amazon. Walmart.com and overstock both have it as being released on oct 28.
Maybe its a thing with WOTC to support the FLGS's. I think I heard somewhere that it can't be sold on the internet for a certain amount of time after release so those of us that can't wait will buy them at the gaming stores first. This is just my faulty memory so I could be wrong.

| Yup. I've also noticed this happens with a lot of comic book trade collections. Amazon gets them about 2 weeks later than local shops. | | HW List: http://www.maxminis.com/hwlist.asp?user=DrX References: http://www.maxminis.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=12409

| | I'd be interested in hearing any thoughts about the book, when you guys finally get it. Things like what parts you liked, what you didn't, and so on. Of the books I've done design work on so far, it's been my favorite to work on. | | Professional Fan of DDM | |

| | Hmmm...I actually played a warforged soulknife in our WLD campaign about 6-7 months ago. My dm basically said that psicrystals were used in my construction. I'm curious, is that the route that they went in the book for the psionic warforged? | | Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light.--Dylan Thomas

| | Shoe: The book for me is just great. The prestige classes are all very interesting and thematic and it just gets to the very core of why I like Eberron. The options in there are different and fun. A great mix of really good crunch and fluff. Every page I was just shocked that there was SO much crammed in there but it wasnt thin or undeveloped. I havent read it cover to cover yet, but overall an amazing book and replaces five nations as my favorite Eberron book thus far. | | Im out- find me on Hordelings if you want to chat. | |

Yes, they have new feats and several magic devices that support Dragonmarks. The new Dragonmark rods are rods topped with Khyber shards that are tuned to a specific Dragonmark. The abilities of the rod are determined by the level of your mark, Least, Lesser, so forth. Expensive, but very usefull. As an example, the highest ability for the Mark of Finding Rod is True Seeing once a day. | | Better to be hated for what you are than loved for what you're not My Have/Want list Trades pending with: Competed trades (11) ares71,pagansexy,bradu,Unearthed Arcana, Garate,Arbados dobblegog, blackthorne,aussie_jim, spikegif, Lady Bast

Keep presenting the adventure locales! I like having a pregenerated map in the book to work from for an adventure location. Thus far the prestige classes have been well thought out and very well described, new magic devices have a very distinct flavor (chime of blasting as an example) that I enjoy. The grafts were also well done and a very interesting concept overall. They're going to spice up some of my NPCs here shortly. The art is fantastic and the overall layout and design work very well. | bought the book yesterday and I really like it, psionic warforged, psionic artificer, the process of binding elementals all good. Not really likeing the half daelkyr. They are supposed to be the ultimate evil, almost demigods, trapped away for 10's of thousands of years folklore to the bulk of the world and I think this template waters them down, makes them more common.

| Ran a DDM event Saturday at my LGS were I am every other Saturady. I was hoping to show some support to the store and get this book. Well, they did not have it. Guy behind the counter look it up on the store computer, none even came in and they do not have 1 on order. They do have many junk books (I would call them junk as I have never seen anyone get one and they are there every week) on the shelves, and the good ones go fast.
Looks like I will have to go to an online site for this one. | | First peon to make it to "Knight Warlord" Completed Trades -148-

| I'm a recent Eberron and Warforged addict. I'm going to have to be picking up most of the Eberron core books. I had this idea for a campaign I was going to run since my turn is coming up here ... but I'm scrapping it. I love the Eberron setting just TOO much.
I love the pulpy sense of adventure, I love the energy and excitement of the setting.
And I love Warforged. What amuses me most is that a Warforged Dragon Disciple picks up the half-dragon template and its type changes to "dragon". That amuses the snot out of me. A Warforged monk eventually becomes an outsider (But it is a CONSTRUCT!!!!). Still, it's a game and I love the racial backstory and built-in angst.
I'm definitely going to pick up Magic of Eberron just to see what sort of neat crunchy bits a Warforged Favored Soul can use ... | | Triangle DDM Skirmish Group | My Email | 45-ish trades and counting | Stuff for Trade * * * Show your brother some love and click here * * *
