| Nope. I have issues 165-200 (or thereabouts) in hardcopy, along with issues 274-337.
Issues 1-250 are on my harddrive (lovely Dragon Magazine Archive CD-roms!)

| I have to say (joking of course...) that I'm a bit disappointed. Your missing so many early classics!
Where is B1, B3, B4
WG 5 and 6
A 3, and 4
C1, S4 (!) L2, L3 (well, I'll give you a hall pass on that one...) U3
I thought for such a Greyhawk Grognard, you'd have a complete collection...
I'll have to get my written up a somepoint as well. I don't have nearly as much Third Edition stuff, but I have dragon 35 (or so) to 200, and nealry al the 1e and 2e greyhawk stuff. I sold off a bunch of my Forgotten Realms stuff so I could buy Archfiends last year. I had no money at the time!

| Hmmm, not bad for a young-un.....
Once I get the gaming room a little more presentable I will see about some pictures. Finished building some shelves for most of the books and modules last month, almost 60 linear feet of them (and most of that is now filled). Used some left over 2x6 and 2x8's for verticals and 1/2" plywood for the shelf spans, which I limited to about 2' each so as to not have to worry about sag too much, and installed a leading edge between the uprights to support each shelf. I have not yet moved the file cabinets into the room. (Complete Dragon and Dungeon collections, and numerous other older gaming mag series like Sorcerors Apprentice, White Dwarf up to 100, etc, etc, fill two five drawer cabinets, and then I have others to move as well....) This does reflect 30 years of gathering as of a couple of months ago. | | Built the addition for this addiction, now on to the "gaming table" project.... http://www.maxminis.com/hw_list.asp?user=Zenako last updated 29 May 2006 Set Status: in a nutshell = all of all In Process trades 0), (Sig last updated 05/29/06) 300 plus Completed Trades -

| Was very active in the USENET days of rec.games.frp.marketplace and managed to pick up all the old ones I was missing back then, sometimes for only a few bucks a piece.
For those "young-uns" out there, USENET was before the web, but after email came into being. It still exists but has been swamped by this thing called EBAY.
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.frp.marketplace?lnk=gschg although it is mostly just links to websites and EBAY auctions now. Back in the day we conducted many an email based auction with daily updates and final bids and many such things. Essentially a human operated EBAY system, with lots of personal checks going in the mail. The days of Dave Papays price guide...
Managed to pick up the few old modules I was missing back then too, but I had been a diligent gooby during the late 70's early 80's and was a very frequent customer at the FLGS. Even spent a few weekends near the holidays helping out and getting paid in booty. I have pretty complete collections of Wild Hunt and Alarums and Excursions for anyone who remembers those early zines, that were often the proving grounds for future published authors...

| Zenako, I did the same. Though perhaps a bit later. I was on Usenet in 92-94, and filled out most of the gaps in my collection (with notable exceptions, first printings of OD&D, R1-4 etc.) But the costs (even then) associated with getting Dragon 1-30 was just out of reach for a college student. Even know with disposable income, i'd be hard pressed to justify it. I'm happy that I have so many Dragons from the early days, and wish I had them all, but the last "The Dragon" that I saw for sale was several hundred dollars, and that was early in the bid process.
Take us some pic's Zenako!

| Well I don't have a good woodgrain box of original stuff, nor did I ever see fit to pony up for the R1-R4 or RPGA1-4 series either. Just too pricy to justify, even for a hard core collector.
Years ago I sold off all my extra Dragons, (mainly to Noble Knight Games and Titan Games), keeping only the best copies for my collection. That freed up quite a bit of space and returned me some cash. About 6 months later TSR announced the 1-250 CD and that killed the secondary market for the midnumber issues, that had info but no handouts or inserts. Timing was everything.
Will see about getting some pics of the archive.
