| | I doubt you will find anything that closely resmebles a Death Knight other than just making a Death Knight. You could use Savage Species to help you turning the Death Knight Template into a level based progression and slowly gain it's powers. BTW, I would go with the Death Knight Template from DLCS, since it is much closer to Soth that the original WotC one. | | Champion of the Beholder and Beholderkin

i would assume Dragonlance Campaign Setting You could also see if you can peruse old dragon magazines. They once did an issue that had "Paladins" of other alignments. 20 level classes that were the champions of other alignments. Anti-Paladin was the CE version i think. That issue might be what you want ... sorry i don't remember which one though.

| Deathknights can also be found in MMII as well as the Dragonlance Campaign Setting. Savage Species and Libris Mortis offer rules for making undead PCs.
If you're going for a living anti-paladin, I recommended the following to you in another thread:
Blackguard: DMG Knight of the Thorn: Dragonlance Campaign Setting (DLCS) Rogue Knight: Dragonlance Age of Mortals Supplement

| Yeah, Jai had it right.
As far as Aanti palading, Unearthed Arcana had 3 variant paladins for the 3 other non-neutral alignments. | | Champion of the Beholder and Beholderkin

| | Also note that Lord Soth is very lawful, and still bound by honor, which does not really sound like a CE wild elf. Also being a deathknight has the harsh prerequisite of being dead, which athough not insurmountable is a pain. Usually (at least in Dragonlance) a deathknight was cursed to be so, and did not choose his fate (though it always seemed a little odd to curse someone by making them able to kick some real backside) | | Call me: W.N. Well, there were those centuries of his soul slowly dying as he was forced to relive his deed night after night without the sweet release of death, but maybe that's just my look at it. | | Champion of the Beholder and Beholderkin

| Again, LM...I do not possess any of those books, I will look online, but I really
want to be chaotic evil and living :)
Do any of you have links to these prestige classes ? That would be most appreciated. | | Please donate BLOOD at http://www.monstersgame.co.uk/ac=vid&vid=11018554 Champion Of Kaz the Minotaur Knight of ALL Draconians. | | These are all Wizards owned thing, not open source like the PH or DMG, so you are going to have to get ahold of a book if you actually want to get any real information on them. | | Champion of the Beholder and Beholderkin

| The blackguard can be found here: http://srd.pbemnexus.com/blackguard.html
The other 2 aren't Open Gaming License so they're not available unless you purchase the book. However, if you want to view them to see if you'd like to purchase these books you can do so at Amazon.com.
Here's the Dragonlance Campaign Setting: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0786930861/102-3245735-7300151?v=glance&n=283155&n=507846&s=books&v=glance
Just select "search inside", find the pages you're looking for and you're all set. Knight of the Thorn is what I was thinking of for you. It is a PrC within the Knights of Neraka / Takhisis organization (there are also Knights of the Skull (Dark Clerics) and Knights of the Lily (Dark Sorcerers)). Deathknights are in this book as well, with an specific entry for a really cool one: Lord Austric Krell, who is a major character in the current Dark Disciple Trilogy.
You should know that Amazon does limit the total number of pages you can view per book (it's something like 20) so be selective in the pages you view.
Here's Age of Mortals: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1931567107/102-3245735-7300151?v=glance&n=283155&s=books&v=glance
Unfortunately you can't search inside this one. Rogue Knight (a knight that has sullied his honor and lost his knighthood) is what I was thinking of for you here. If you're ever in a bookstore you might want to have a look.
Both books have feats that would be fitting for such a character. Honor Bound in the DLCS is one to definitely consider (I think it's a prereq. for KotT anyway).
Hope that gives you a good starting point.
LM
btw- I also recommend Lawful Evil over Chaotic Evil. Much more fitting for a black knight. Honor bound but entirely evil, sounds like a fun combo to play. | | Have: Cat; Want: Storm Giant Champion of Anything Dragonlance Before trading, please check the Disputed Trades Thread

| Thanks for the links LB...but you have no idea how much more they charge for french books,
something close to 40%, I even asked WoTc and they gave me a pitiful excuse only. And since
I started and my fellow companion started as CE, I see no reason to abandon that alignment.
I know the monsters in english mostly, so that is why I want those in english, but the
source material has to be french. Most of my Québec friends are not very good at english. | | Please donate BLOOD at http://www.monstersgame.co.uk/ac=vid&vid=11018554 Champion Of Kaz the Minotaur Knight of ALL Draconians. | | I know that Myth Drannor has an undead elf in the form of a baalnorn, but other than that, I was under the impression that elves couldn't be undead, something to do with their spirits fleeing too quickly. Could just be my DM's rule or something. | | E-mail | Have/Want List | Reference thread "Whatever you do, don't drop a blade barrier on a troll."

| We were playing in a very powerfull evil FR game and two of the characters were Knighted as Black Guards and swore "Eternal Service" to the patron evil power that be. When one of them was eventually killed by an uber dragon, he was transformed almost instantly into a Death Knight. The other Black Guard was debating on whether or not to commit suicide or not. Some really big positives for the template but that level adjustment can be tough though.
There are no prestige classes that really resemble a death knight type of character... go full bore and get turned into one. [:D]
