| WotC now has a downloadable version of White Plume Mountain.
First Tomb of Horrors now this....I love it.
Call me crazy..but I would have preferred a nice collectors book of revised classics over a free download...But Im taking what I can get :)

| Yippee! WPM was / is a fun, quirky little adventure. A real throwback to the days before everything had to be all Grim 'n' Gritty (tm). I remember my players ALMOST puncturing that damn bubble.
Still, we could have seriously done without the adapters raving about how they were 11 and 12 when they first ran through the adventure. Whippersnappers... grumble...

| Agreed! Very happy with the recent freebies of converted adventures, but a printed collection would be even better! | | "I was sittin' here eatin' my muffin, drinkin' my coffee, replayin' the incident in my head, when I had what alcoholics refer to as a moment of clarity." - Jules Winnfield Sales/Trades Bad (1): Ironfist Boulderbender Trades/Sales completed (8.): Danthl, Dafrca, Garyaxe, qillan_dvra, realmaster, Vandal_Savage, cavedweller, unearthed arcana. DID puncture the damn bubble. Had to run like crazy and close every door we passed through. Don't think we ever finished that adventure... | |

You're not crazy. I would have liked that as well and would have easily payed for it. | | WotC - making me wish more and more every day for a return to the TSR days. :( I fought the snark and the snark won. I'm baaaaaaaaaaack!

How about BOTH options? I like the free downloads, espcially since I already bought all these stuff way back when...
As a somewhat related note...kinda ticked off at myself...I bought the 3E core rule books a while back and we never changed to that format in years...so they were sitting collecting dust; now that we have made the conversion and 3.5 is the norm we are going to those 3E core books I have are worthless...no resale value [B)]

| WPM has always been one of my least favorite modules out of the old crop. I don't think everything has to be serious all the time, but that module just makes no sense at all.
As far as modules in the 'wtf' vein go, I always liked Expedition to the Barrier Peaks and the 2 Alice adventures a lot better. | | Anson on WotC boards

| But Ian, that's the BEAUTY of this adventure. It slaps the DM in the face and says "I DARE you to put this twisted in your campaign and make sense of it!" Hell, I had to use and ARTIFACT (the Rod of Seven Parts) to fit it into my campaign. It's almost a tabula rasa of mayhem and fun!
Now Palace of the Silver Princess... I STILL don't think I have that one figured out...

| The legacy versions of the 3 weapons are nice, I have used the weapons in my campaigns without the attendant dungeon.
I always thought it was a bit of a ripoff that Keraptis never got statistics, nor even really made an appearance. Highlight of the adventure is the giant crab, I think. | | Anson on WotC boards

I loved that crab. After our encounter I remember one of our players looking through the equipment list... for butter [:D]

| | I have a soft spot in my heart for this old chesnut. White Plume Mountain was just so much goofy fun and you got freakin' artifacts out of it! Even throwing 4 efreets at the party in the end wasn't going to stop them at that point. | | Completed Trades: Crescent Hawk, Vimes, demagogue, vidman, Eric is God, Strachan Fireblade, FungiMuncher, Dudeeehm, Shasack, gausse, kyrin, nyjastul69 Champion of the Remorhaz | |

I would love to see dungeonland and beyond the magic mirror updated for 3.5. Those two were two of my favorites.

I'm going to have to try to sneak a download at work tomorrow for this and Tomb of Horrors. | | Champion of the Werewolf Lord, Knight of Anything Duergar, and Squire of Things Gnollish List reset with the start of previews for each new set...got Chainmail®?
