Me again...I know, but I am so used to 2nd Edition that I am finding a lot of weird things in 3.5, but also many improvements.
Can a Fighter fighting with a Double-Blade or Lajatang equip a Target Shield ? Can he wear one on each hand and get -2 to hit ? I saw nothing definite in the rules.
This one is related to Rokugan: can a Chanar-Aina ( looks like an apron ) be worn over or under a Samurai armor ? I would appreciate any help on those two questions. Thanks in advance.

A person can wear two shields at once. However as they both give a shield bonus to AC, the character would only benefit from one because shield bonuses do not stack.
Also unless that person has the feat improved buckler defense from complete warrior, they do not gain a benefit from the shield when they attack using the arm that has the shield on it.
The Cahar-Aina can be worn only over light or medium armor (see its description in the OA book). Samurai armor is Heavy, so a person can not gain the benefit of the Cahar-Aina while wearing Samurai amor.
