| Waterbreathing potions do exist. Our Alchemists should be able to make some.
I'll try to make a couple batches tonight and add some to the bank for everyone to use.

| In other guild news we have gone ahead and created a new guild rank, that of Air Commodore.
5 people have been granted this rank to serve as a council for the guild, to help make decisions or deal with any problems that should arrise.
The ability to invite people into the guild has been limited to Air Commodores and Kenzie, everyone is still free and encouraged to recruit new friends, family members, other Winnipeg gamers etc as they have before into the guild. For now you just have to run the prospective member by an Air Commodore or Kenzie.
At this point Aerick, Suval, Idzy, Azathan, and Bladefire have been apointed the Air Commodores. We're going to keep it at 5 for now, should more be needed as the guild grows we'll add them.
I've also increase bank access for some guild ranks.

| A lot of good instance runs this weekend, good item upgrades dropped for people. Hopefully we can do it more often.
We need to run the Wailing Caverns sometime and get Paula the sweet druid gear. And those guys in the Scarlet Monestary have had it too good for too long....

| Ooh, what did you guys run over the weekend? I spent pretty much all my time on Gharag, except for a few hours of drowning with Iliara on Saturday night.
Speaking of which, Iliara is about the correct level for WC isn't she? I'd be willing to tag along to provide my awesome healing powers. Or something. :P

| Sunday Jay, Suzanne, Chris, Rob and myself ran RFK twice. Poplar, Sal, and Aerick got some nice gear upgrades.
Then later Rob, Suzanne, and myself took a crack as Black Fathom Depths. It was a little late so we only got about halfway through but it was far enough for both Poplar and Sal to get a nice blue item each.
One lesson learned was we probably need more Shaman, Rogues, and hunters to go on these runs as all the Leather gear that droped went unused. Good for the enchanters though.

| Okay, I think it's time to kick things off to the next level of fun with the guild with some contests. Therefore and hearby I do issue....
Kenzie's Fishing Chalenge I
Grab your poles gentlemen.
And start fishing.
You have until Sunday at 8 PM to mail Kenzie the largest fish you can reel in. I think Kenzie's record is a 40 pound Grouper, see what you can pull up.
Here's what you get for having the biggest fish.
1st place: 10 gold 2nd place: 5 gold 3rd place: 2 gold
Anyone else who sends in a fish gets an honorable mention and 50 silver.
Only send in fish with a weight attached to their name.
Good luck everyone!

She's trying to recover something from a sunken ship and between trying not to drown and trying not to get killed by random murlocs it is a bit taxing. Getting rid of the drowning threat would turn me into a murloc killing machine. :P

| No hits on the fishing contest so far... oh well.
It has been a bit slow lately. With that in mind I'm going to extend the contest until the end of the month and give everyone a chance to do some fishing.

| Idealy we would get some more local players to join. Friends, family members, other gamers that kind of thing.
In theory we could invite non-winnipegers into the guild but they would have to be very good players in the sense of fun to be around and not liekly to cause problems.
What does everyone else think on the issue?
For now though I'm going to offer a guild recruitment bonus for any new Winnipeg players brought into the guild. Run the prospective player by Kenzie, Aerick, Suval, Idzy, Bladefire, Azathan or whatever alt they are currently playing and if they are deemed worthy for membership you will earn 1 gold. Should the new player prove to be a semi regular at least and contributing to the guild in a positive way you will earn another 10 gold.

Any new recruits will have the rank of Cadet, it's the default rank assigned to anyone joining. While the other can invite someone in only Kenzie can promote them.
I can set the bank access so Cadets get none.

| | I think that is probably a fairly safe idea to limit bank access for new members. Personally I would be inclined to stick with only Winnipeggers for the guild. Not an elitist thing just thinking its better to keep it to people we actually know at least for now. | | World of Warcraft stole my soul. WoTC bought it back. | |

| | I ended up with Saturday off this week so I should be ready to go ahead and run some sweet instances that day/night. In fact I would be ahppy to spend the whole day running them, sadly I do need to make a run at Gnomer which I am very much not looking forward to but I think if a bunch of us get together and make sure everyone has all the quests we should be able to bang it out pretty easily and never have to go back. Other than Gnomer I would still like to make a few runs at SM armory I could really use some new shoulders and I belive Herod's are pretty good. I could totally run anything else that anyone else needs in addition to that. | | World of Warcraft stole my soul. WoTC bought it back. | |
