What happened to the Deagostini Star Wars Battle Magazine?
It was only released in the UK- they refused subscription requests from people in the US (several of us tried [:(]) and apparently it was only released in a small area of the UK- Almost like it was designed to fail. I thought it got up to like issue 4 before it was canceled.

Now they go for mad money on eBay.

That’s too bad. I would think that would be a home run for us mini people. I bet a magazine directed to both types of mini's including cardboard pieces of terrain, would be outstanding. Especially with another mini's set coming A&A!!! woooohooooo

I do too. However, I think that WotC considers that 'covered' by Ultimate Missions for SWM and Fantastic Locations for DDM

We have been asking for more maps in the Ultimate Missions books and Rob has indicated that is the direction they are going in the future, so feedback does appear to have some effect.

Maybe this is the type of thing Paizo could do, since they took over Dungeon Magazine and Dragon Magazine from WotC.

Well as enjoyable as the Ultimate missions are, and I have all three,
$30 a pop is a bit much. And having them hit the shelves only when a new expansion comes is another thing. A monthly or bi-monthly publication would cetainly be spiffy :)
I still think there could be a market for the gamer portion and the collector portion of the mini's field. A slick mag that contained some simple terrain pirces or some sort, info on hot pieces, cool warbands, maybe some smaller maps or tiles, and stuff of that sort. Target all the WOC mini's catagories and I think we have a winner.
