The AT-AT base is 6" x 12". I'm actually less impressed by it in person than I thought I'd be. The AT-ST is more annoying though, with its incorrect proportions.

I like the AT-AT as it is. The only flaw (and a minor one it is) is that grid on the base, which makes the thing less suited for display "as such". I'm planning on buying a second one (as a Christmas present to myself) and work on its base (add snow/ice, perhaps a snowspeeder when we get them, and a few trooper corpses) to make it a truly unique display piece. The AT-ST I like too. I think it is not so much out-of-proportion as it is in an awkward pose (I think the only flaw is that the "upper legs" linked to the "torso head" should be more "horizontal"). It's THAT huge?!? Wow... I was thinking about 2/3 of that. But thanks, now I know what kind of base I'll have to do to play it like the actual piece!
