She or He is Darth Nihilus the evil character in Knight of the Old Republic 2 Video Game, He has some sort of ability to absorb and eat the force... Nice impresion at sight don´t he?

I did'nt read the one with her name revealed but I can check the issue# I have when I get home. I remember some stupid Zeltrons ruined Leia's dress and then she and Han got kidnapped. | |

| That sounds familar.... Oh wait... That was from flame war not too long ago I think. Somone had mentioned this character and a whole bunch of people jumped on him/her. As I recall the energy whip is some sort of lightsaber varient, kinda lame realy. I could see some sort of energy/vibro whip type weapon that could resist lightsabers maybe, some sort of Alchemicaly Treated Sith weapon perhaps.

| As a SW RPGer-DM.... a "force whip" is a great idea.....
Just too mess with (AKA Bring adventure and excitement to a RPG game) the PC's...........grin
Probably why they did it in the first place.
NOTE: I don't have any background with "Expanded Universe". My computer gaming is limited to 1980 (circ) games like Pong. grin

| I think they actualyl have stats for what Lumunarya/Black Hole (or something like that) who is the character who uses that weapon.
I'll go check to see if the Stats are in the A&EG, Rebellion Era Source book (first Stats in WotC for her), or in one of the Short lived SW gamerer Mags, and get back to you.

| The character with the whip was Lumiya,
when the Imperial operative Shira Elan Colla Brie was trained in the ways of the Dark Side of the Force by Darth Vader, she shed her old name and became the Dark Jedi Lumiya. Shira had infiltrated the Alliance at Vader's orders, in an effort to capture Luke Skywalker. Luke shot Shira's TIE Fighter down, and Shira barely survived. After being fitted with cybernetic implants and healing in a bacta tank, she emerged as the woman known as Lumiya. Lumiya's weapon of choice was not the lightsaber, though, but a new weapon known as the lightwhip. She discovered the lightwhip while searching through an ancient Sith tome during the Battle of Endor. Vader tried to keep her training a secret from Emperor Palpatine, but eventually had to reveal her existence. In order to keep favor with Palpatine, Vader presented Lumiya to the Emperor as a candidate to be one of the Emperor's Hands.

| Hi you guys
The other day i was thinking on the idea of mixing rebellion with new republic, about synergy and resources, we all know that new republic lacks of lots of common and uncommon troops, maybe the new set would bring many troops and character for this faction to make it more playable but i was thinking about bringing BRIDGE abilities that could bring new figures, like in D&D creatures from one faction that let you bring creatures from other factions for legal in game. an example could be a:
New republic Militia Commander that could let you put non-unique rebel characters in New republic armies, as Rebel trooper, Hoth troopers, rebel pilots, and so on.
This character could be an uncommon commander or a character (maybe a new republic mon mothma) because the new republic used old troops for long time.
This could give some chance to new republic in competive game.
and about giving this to the rebellion: Maybe put a character like a rebellion mon mothma that could bring non-force user character from new republic to rebelion.
what are your thoughs about ¿¿¿???

| | I agree that would help out alot. Mon Mothma did run the New Republic for awhile. Leia did as well so maybe they could make 2 more Leia's one a Jedi and the other the Republic leader. Oh and they have to allow any NR leia to bring Noghri in with her. | |

Mon Mothma in a hipotetical rebel version could not bring force users to rebelion, because they were killed and there is no jedi in rebellion era.
What about Gar ber iblis or something that i can´t remember, i know that he was a skilled commander. | |

| Darthu, looked over your list and started to update the CoF page, started the Grid, i didn't put in anything that wasn't pretty well confimred.
So Gree and HK Rare?
I think there won't be a lot of non Old Republic Era figures in the set... the Sith go down to 16 confirmed (the Trooper), that is a quarter of the set right there, (26%), possibly more say 2-3 Troopers to up to 30%, the Old Republic really needs at least 10 figures to be competitive... (But well we have seen WotC go with less YV), so maybe 4-5 as a definite.Making 16+5 or 21 as a low guess to 28 as high-end making about half of the set OR. A good thing I think makes them competitive and gets odd figures out and makes the rest look good to the general public, with Yoda, Maul and others.
And we can expect a Storm trooper, Clone Trooper and Battle droid just becuase they are the "orcs/Drow/skeletons/zombies" of SW, you can always use more and if you didn't get older sets need more.
But We will see. | |

| Just relized something, Old Republic should be first that changes the numbers alot, I think the Dark Jedi Master is the First Sith Character...
making the OR go to 7, and the Sith to 16, for about 8 each and another 10 for the Fringe, making about 20 figs or 33% or a third old Republic that expands things a lot for other factions...
but still makes the ORE some what playable... | |

| Varactyl Wrangler will boost a lot the Acklay and the rancor! nice cheap creature.
Dark phase II i really don´t like that paint job but is a nice add to the empire flying with 30 damage, really dangerous, this is a great assault trooper. | |

Nice combo since xizor bonus is for the whole battle, a droid droping grenades at 20 points, nice purchase to the empire xizor ;)
