Well we had our first epic tourney at the FLGS yesterday. NEver played Epic so had a good time playing the game a little differently then i normally get to.

I ran the following warband...

Elminster (non-Epic)
Archmage
Epic AoK
Eberk
satyr
inspiring marchal
crow shaman
Ibixian

First round i played the following...

Fiendish T-rex
frenzied beserker
moonelf
greenfang druid
centaur hero
various fodder

This one went pretty easily. Played on Hellspike, was able to smack the greenfang with a magic missile first round and i think that really scared the guy i was playing. He moved his centaur hero up to the small victory area on the side without the victory area in the lava. He moved him early enough in the round that i went ahead and used grant move action to get kord in range to charge, which he did and smack him. With a snakes swiftness from the crow shaman he routed first round.

Rest of the game was prety easy at that point. 2 swords on the FB, kord smaking around the t-rex and wiped the warband in 30 minutes and could watch the rest of the games.

Second game was a little tougher, used hellspike again and i wasnt the only one with blindsight to use the map to my advantage.

played the following...
bholder
lord soth
aspect of nerull
various fodder

I made a really noob mistake and half my warband got caught in an abyssal blast on the first damn round. Lost eberk, satyr and instpiring marshal. Kord came to the resuce of course and dished out a ton of damage. Nothing really exciting in this one except for the first round mistake. And getting 2 swords on teh beholder.

Had a buy in the third round.

Played a fellow maxmini's guy in the final round to see who would be the champ of the day.

He was actually the warband i was most worried about, he played the following...
Epic justicator
Epic rikka
2x justice archon
dwarf artificer
clerric of dol arrah
Couatl

PLayed on the temple map, he won the init. First round was just moving pieces closer and setting things up. second round after he had moved most of his peices, including the 4 that could really hurt Kord, use the grant move action from the IM to base one of his justice archons with kord, then kord went to work. With snakesswiftness and using pipes to win init i took out the justice archons before they ever got a swing off and then put some damage on the justicator. Moved elm and archmage up and tried twice to banish the couatl, second one worked. I got Extremely LUCKY at this point (may have saved the game) Kord was down to 60 hp, Rikka had two swings on him with a possible 60 damage, he needed to roll a 4 or higher on the first roll and a 7 or higher on the second, he rolled a 3 and a 6 and missed twice. This allowed Kord to finish off the justicator. Next round he finished off Kord. We cleared up some fodder at this point on both sides, he routed my IM, which rallied on his second attempt 2 squares from the exit. Satyr sitting in the victory area for about 4 rounds at this point. We ended up being down to Rikka and cleric, both full HP against a hiding IM and the archmage and Elminster. Basically did the smart/chicken thing to win at this point, knew i was up on points and just started to Run and Gun with elm and the archmage. Caught him slipping at one point and dimension doored both the archmage and elm up to his clerric that was all alone 18 squares from the couatl. did 35 points of damage but it didnt route. Last round and he based Elm with Rikka and i just swung at the cleric with Elm's surprisingly OK + to hit (missed both and it ended. Think end the end i won by somewhere between 60-120 points. Dont think we added it up. I had 230 points on the board to his 190 or something and i had 5 or so rounds in the victory area and the last round as well.

Altogether it was a great day and really enjoyed my first ecpi tourney.
