| When: Saturday March 11, 2006 at 11 AM (NOT NOON) Where: Endgame in Oakland (http://www.endgameoakland.com/map.html) What: 200 Point Constructed Assault DDM Tournament with full War Drums era rules Why: Because you want to be one of the first to win a WD era tourney ...
Be sure that your warband fits the WD rules. That means an 8 figure limit, and specifying 1 map for your warband for the tourney ... 9for when you win terrain initiative).
The fee will be $5, which goes to the prize support for the tournament. The prize support consists of 1 booster for every 2 players. These prize boosters will be popped open and players will choose figures from them based upon their placement in the tournament, so anyone placing in the top half of the tournament will have a chance at a rare.
Any questions? Just post them here. | | Champion of Meepo _*_ Myztek on the Wizards Boards. _*_ (2206 DDM on 03/06/06) Please note: The use of the indicates an attempt at humor ... often a bad attempt. BAD EBAY SELLERS LIST (CLICK HERE): AVOID AT ALL COSTS

| | I will work my ass off to make time for that tourney. Even if I don't do well, $5 for the chance to effectively win a booster sounds like a pretty good deal. | | | |

| Those who are choosing to use Broken Demongate can self-correct the map. I believe the floor rules specify that doing so is legal if you didn't get the corrected version at an official release tournament.
As an addendum, I'd like to specify that we will do swiss if enough people show up (10+) and we will do round robin if not enough show. Basically, we want to get 4 rounds of playing in. | | Champion of Neogi

From Ian Richards: quote: Note: Corrected versions won't be legal as every map would have to be checked to see if it was corrected properly by the tournament judge/organizer therefore the rules are as standing in the D&D Miniatures Floor Rules. Home games and non sanctioned play can use whatever you think is appropriate

| As this is sanctioned, the 'corrected maps' will not be legal.
Additional clarification: This will be an assault tourney, not triad.

My bad. Now you all know why it's better that jgsugden posts about this than I. [)] | | Champion of Neogi

| | So much for getting my hopes up. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend tomorrow's event at Endgame. I wish all attendees the best of luck and I look forward to reading the tourney report! | | Champion of all things Athasian "Don't sing it - Bring it!" | |
