200 point sealed tournament. All participants must bring or purchase one sealed War Drums starter kit and one sealed booster pack from any other DDM expansion. Swiss rounds and single elimination.

If you are interested please reply here so I can get an idea. Please let me know if you need sealed at cost ($8 boosters, $14 starters) so I can get an idea of what to order.

This was the only time available during the convention. Where is the nearest Open to Sacramento? LA?

Another comment, and this may just be me, but Sealed events are great for a few weeks after a new set is realeased, but after a while interest wanes. Most serious collectors have now completed their sets and have moved onto incorporating the new minis into constructed warbands. Granted, Sealed events can always be fun, but I've found overall participation in Sealed events is much lower so long after a set has been available. Just my $0.02, best of luck to all participants!

I'm also unsure of another point: Can you sanction a tourney is the boosters are not specified? I was under the impression that everyone had to use the same boosters to get a tournament sanctioned (unless it was one of those special WotC tourneys where they make exceptions to their own rules) ...

This tournament isn't sanctioned. I have 6 sets of starter/boosters available at $23 total a piece. If anyone is interested please let me know: eberron at comcast dot net.
