Thanks Venport, we look forward to having you! Just a note of correction, the next GoB "Tourney" will be Tuesday May 16th.
We actually only had three participants show up for the longest time yesterday at GoB, so zdrake, Paul Mills, and I set up the two sides of the Keep of the Fallen Kings for a three-way fun match! The match, which was all ad lib, ad hoc set up, was a lot of fun. Paul Mills came out with an LE Undead + 2x HH band; zdrake played his CE Eye of Gruumsh & HGB band w/ Quaggoth Slaves et. al.; and I played my LG Couatl / CoDA / JA & Rikka band w/ Azer flavor. We played for whoever gets 200 points first - no assault points.
Unfortunately for Paul he ended up getting sandwiched between zdrake and I, though his HH stuck around 'til the end. The game came down to an initiative roll and whoever won that roll taking out their primary objective. I had a JA & CoDA facing off w/ zdrakes HGB, which only had 55 HP remaining. Zdrake won initiative, but flubbed his first attack roll on the JA! Then he critted with his next roll. Crap. That was game.
Otherwise, both Feathers and Beastmaster showed up late but squared off against one another. This was great for Feathers cause it gave him one more opportunity to test out his Qualifiers warband before the event this weekend in Utah. GOOD LUCK FEATHERS! | | Champion of all things Athasian "Don't sing it - Bring it!" | |

| | Nope, Games of Berkeley is not Endgame, though we see many of the same players. Our next sanctioned event will be Tuesday May 16th, as always WAY more promo prize support than any other place I've heard of, and that's just for showing up! Hope to see you all there, -Ben | | Champion of all things Athasian "Don't sing it - Bring it!" | |
