Just got out of the car after a 12 hour all night drive back to Calgary from Idaho, and about ready to pass out, but just wanted to post a quick update.

Turnout was pretty low; there were 31 people there last year, and this year the locals didn't show up in the same numbers, so we only managed 14 total. I think the breakdown was 2 from Canada, Me and Gnolaum, 5 from Utah, and the rest from Idaho.

I don't remember the name of the first place guy, but he was playing

2 X Aspect of Kord
Inspiring Marshal
Crow Shaman
Timber Wolf
Xeph Warrior
Elf Warrior
and I think Another T Wolf, but not positive

He was from Utah and played a very solid game, and went undefeated.

Gnolaum came in second with:
Marut
Couatl
Bodyguard
Cleric of Yondalla
Aramil
Standard Bearer

The final was painful to watch as Gnolaum rolled a 1 three times with his Marut, and then a fourth time with his Bodyguard to clear a crucial fodder. With that type of luck you really just can't win.

I took third with:
Drizzt
Rask
Rikka
Aramil
Devis
Jozan
Lidda(4 Pt)
Xeph Warrior

I made a few minor mistakes that cost me the match against the eventual winner, such as attacking the Inspiring Marshal with Rikka, instead of the Crow Shaman, and there were a few rolls that went against me, but all in all a good match.
My luck against Gnolaum was pretty terrible, and he played really well to make sure that I couldn't rally and get back in the games.

I was 3 and 2 after the swiss, and had lost to the first and second place players, and played everyone else in the top 6, so my tie breakers were very good.

Fourth place went to an Idaho player, I think his name was Rusty, who was playing:
2 Gauth
2 Duergar Champ
Dark Naga
3 Azer Raider.

Decent match against him, but I just moved up and based the Naga and the one of the Gauth. He paralized Rask, who the activated and made his save( + 11 with Drizzt) I won initiative, hit one gauth for 25 for a moralle save, which he made, then Stunning Attack over the first gauth at the second one, which was stunned and failed his moralle check. Activated Drizzt and hit the Dark Naga twice, who made moralled. He moved up and smacked Drizzt with the Duergar. Aramil nerfs one of the Champs. At this point it is pretty much over. I won initiative again, kill the Naga with Drizzt, and kill the rallied Gauth with Rask and start on the Duergar. Stunned Gauth can't rally, and then nerf the second Duergar.

Gnolaum will probably post the whole list of players and warbands but what I remember is:
Dual Kord with Couatl, Cleric of Order, Human Commoner
3 Eye of Gruumsh, Orc Champ, Wardrummer(he forgot about Rikka and moved into a victory area to hide, got Waylaid), Orc Warriors
Sword Archon Swarm band
Marut Ballista

That is all I can remember for now.

I would like to say thank you to John for hosting the event, and to all the players who were very friendly. It was a great trip, even though it will take me a week to catch up on sleep.
