| NOVEMBER 18th DARK TOWER GAMES in DENVILLE , NJ
I am seeking DDMers in the Morris county area of Northern NJ to try to get a group together for some DDM tourneys like all those that I read these fine reports about. There's a FLGS nearby with plenty of tables that sells plenty of boosters and that hosts MtG events, warhammer and other mini type matches etc.
If I can even scrape together 4 local players, I'll start working on being an "organizer".
Please respond or email me if you are interested.
Time/date/format etc all TBD, but I do have a few WotDQ boosters I could donate as a prize to get some interest. | |

| Morris County... is that near the Lincoln Tunnel or the GWB? I'd be willing to make that drive from where I am in Queens, if it's on a Saturday I was free.

jlynch - I have plenty of pieces and can help teach skirmish (though far from an expert mysefl)
yes - Dark Tower (Denville NJ) is where I was thinking, but if they dont oblige, I'll set up tables at home.
Morris County is 30-40 minutes west of NYC
forked - where are you?
I was planning on going somewhere for Oct7th group, but if I can get 4 players around here maybe we can start then.
Probably going to Jester's Playhouse in south jersey for a Blood War prerelease, that is likely on the 28th.

| I'm in North Carolina but two of my boys live in Central NJ. I used to live in Riverdale so I make it up that way occasionally when I come to have time with my boys (and then I can almost supply a full tournament worth of players with three kids, just watch out for the oldest if he comes with me- he's "legend" here on the boards and lives with me in NC)
October is probably out for me and I'll be playing the pre-release here in Cary, NC but I will try to get it so the two up there can play the pre-release at Jester's if they want. | |

| I am setting up a first tourney at Dark Tower Games in Denville NJ (Morris County) for Saturday November 18th 1-?PM This is my first attempt to get players in this area together. Format 200pt constructed, unless I get feedback that 500 is preferred. In the hopes of generating more interest, We can do a quick demo at the beginning for newer players. I will bring extra minis, maps and pre-fab warbands for people who need the help. This is unsanctioned etc as I wont try to get registered etc until I have an idea that there are enough players to make it worthwhile. It is my intention to start a "community" and have monthly "official" tournaments. Please reply to this post or email me - thanks. | |

| Yes, thanks, I found that out not too long ago, my schedule didnt give me any other open satudays in November. As of yet, I have had almost zero reponses.
I would hope that someone local would post or email to say "yes I am interested but I cant make it that day, please put me on the list for next time" or something to that effect, as opposed to just no post. And I am not expecting that everyone interested in playing around here is also likely to drive 2+ hours for a limited qualifier (like me).
I had only a couple of mediocre responses before I even picked a day. Its a bit frustrating, I can see losts of views but very few replies.
So - anyone local to morris county NJ, please just let me know you exist, then I can do emailings to pick a good day (or evening) for a bunch of players. | |
