They look more like Ogres (or orcs) to me Very nice job on the bases.

Very cool. I've got almost the whole family painted up too.

zenthrus - ya know, after looking at them again... I agree 100%. A little brown paint and they would make great ogres! Great observation. Now I'll have to buy more minis and make ogres!?! LOL! By the way, since I was visiting my wife's side of the family, I didn't have all my toys for basing. So I used SALT and clear coated it, then painted on top. I was surprised on how well it turned out. Thanks for the positive feedback guys. I really enjoy painting and I'm trying to do a better job with every mini.

I use salt (and granulated sugar) for basing quite a bit. Makes excellent sand and reasonably good snow.
