| The first Texas $1K of 2007 is January 13, 2007 at Comic Asylum in Garland TX (www.thecomicasylum.com).
In September, we had 44 DBM inmates in the Asylum (to date, the highest attended $1K NOT associated with a $10K).
We want to break that record - and we should be able to do it with the cooperation of the other pockets of DBM in Texas.
I'm sure we can count on 8 or more to come up from Pat's Games in Austin (and we'll see you there in your backyard on Feb 17).
It'd be nice to get the guys from Genesis Games in San Antonio to make it up to the Garland (NE suburb of Dallas).
Then there is the crew from Lancaster (S suburb of Dallas).
And then if the various players from Tyler, Houston, Gilmer, Corpus Christi would grace us with their presence - that'd be cool.
And if there are any players that we have yet to meet from Waco, Lubbock, Midland / Odessa, El Paso -- or even Oklahoma City -- come on over to Garland for a great time. | |

| The weather affected our turnout -- with the threat of ice that morning, and forecasted accumulations of 1-3 inches -- the Oklahomans weren't the only ones who stayed home. None of the Austin bunch made the drive (although 2 from Houston did).
