I just wanted to post and say thanks to all who showed up got the Manchester 10K. It was great to see so many players from overseas. That, and the release of Anvilborn has renewed my faith in the game. The piece that really blew me away was Bloodhawk Barag. I had not fully appreciated what a game-turning piece this could be in the right warband and have learned my lesson. Also a big nod to 'La Armarda', the Spanish team from Madrid. They were a great bunch of blokes and one of them, Jorje, gave me a dice for initiative rolls as I lost nearly every roll to him. After that I won every game. Thanks Jorje! If there's a 10K in Madrid I'll certainly be there.

My!!!! I've been a long time disconnected, and it's been a wonderful surprise to see this thread. I'm one of the members of "La Armada", and I have to say that I had a great time playing at Manchester. Mainly due to the fantastic players and the english hospitality. I hope there's another big tournament in Europe so we can meet again. And I'll talk to Jorge about the die, you can bet!!!!

Nice to see my dice is a good one!!! I hope to see you at Game Day 2008 or another big european event. The bad "new" was that I lost my entire warband in the convention center... maybe my luck was gone with that dice? ^^
