| This thread pretends you include which adventures from old editions you wuld lke to see adapted to 3.5 ed. and which kind of adventures you need or consider that would be fantastic to be made. Here are mine:
From 2nd edition:
Night Below A Paladin in Hell Rod of Seven Parts
New ones:
- A campaign covering the attack of drow armies to Mithral Hall (or even the quest for Mithral Hall against Duergar forces and the Shadow Dragon). - A mega-adventure involving the PC in the Blood War and even including celestial forces in a battle in Heaven. - An adventure agains Baatezu battallions in search of great artefacts of the past in Myth Drannor.
I will include more as I recall more necessities Please, post your comments. I'm thinking of making a poll on the subject and need your opinions.

| | I want campaigns/adventures that are not Eberron or Forgotten Realms specific. I would not be interesed in demon or devil themed ones. Going to another plane of existance doesn't interest me much. Something involving duegar would be more interesting. I would be most interested in (1) many different adventures; and (2) a long, creative, weaving campaign on the surface involving several different elements (some mystery, some puzzle, some hack and slash) | | "Look to God and live." It'd be a fnatastic low level adventure. | | Completed trades: blackthorne, Drakkengi,Thorgrin, Ironfist Boulderbender x2, ckissee, nasamonkey, Username, Star, Ace13 x3, emontedodger x2, Drconveyor, church, Joeyb, Sir Bozak The Damned, Xeromod, the other guy x2, Qucalion of Celene, Dagaron x2, berus316, qillan_dvra, AshloreDarkShadow

We now have a "mini" that can certainly do our Mistress prowd. It would also be neat to see how they'd expect the lowly kobold tribes to stand up against the mighty PCs.
A Paladin in Hell would also be a nice one to see updated. The big problem for it may be scaling the encounters so the PCs can survive.
It may be blasphmous but I'd also like to see the classic Dragonlance Adventures done up for 3.5 They are probably too story driven to convert well however.

I'd like to see the U series of modules redone. (Saltmarsh) I tried but, the CR ratings in U3 the Final Enemy hurt my little head. I'm just lazy enough to repurchase them. | | Two trades completed!! (Krush,Hides From Hurricanes) Champion of the Aaracokra Herald Of Snig Goblin King

| I'm glad that older modules were so good (or are thought of with such nostalgia) that so many want to see them updated and revised. But, honestly, I'd prefer new material. Stuff I hadn't yet thought of. Stuff that's so well-written that it's a joy to just read the module.
More things as good as Red Hand of Doom would be nice. (And I haven't even run it yet!)

| For me, the Desert of Desolation series deserves to be updated and rereleased. Overall, the best series of modules in AD&D history. I would like to see and expansion of Lost Tomb of Martek in particular. (I know the series was updated for 2nd Edition, but there were parts that weren't updated that need to for plot reason...)

| I like the old school Sutherland drawing "A Paladin in Hell".
That phrase has become something of a standard in the game perhaps, not necessarily a clue to a remake.
Module N1 "Cult of the Reptile God" was a great module. We converted it to v3.0, and it still plays well. Only it is suicide to run it as a "starter" module. The characters will need to be lvl4 or better, even with the wizard NPC to provide artillery at the climax.
This is true of most of these older modules. Often they involved stealth operations that would get players killed if they made a mistake. The new rules adding Search, Spot, Listen etc.. to monsters just makes them harder to pull off. Dirrectly transcribing monsters to a newer version is almost impossible (this is where CR shows it's value, how did I survive without it?)
Several of those N series modules would be good retrofits. There is a need for the younger and less experienced DMs to have access to well laid out modules that help them out in HOW to run an adventure.
I might add N5 "Under Illfarn" to the list as that module was really good at compartmentallizing the adventure into distinct encounters. Each could be run independently of one another, it also provided a great reason why characters were out on an adventure in the first place. It had everything a new DM needed, basically a "mini-campaign" setting. This was easily the best starter module TSR ever produced.
And theKidd I like the picture. Welcome to the site. | | Two trades completed!! (Krush,Hides From Hurricanes) Champion of the Aaracokra Herald Of Snig Goblin King

I agree with the Giants mods. I'd LOVE to see these as a hardbound campaign book. There's some material on the Barrier Peaks on the wizards site.

| This isn't mentioned in the 3.x MM, but in the 2e entry for Derro, it mentions that every so often, they get whipped into a frenzy and wage a suicidal war on all of the underdark. I always thought the makings of a great non-drow based underdark campaign lied in there somewhere, but have never been able to get a good working idea myself. It's just one of those things that has remained in the back of my mind for years, consistently taking a backseat to more fleshed out ideas that I've come up with.
