A buddy of mine has a few of the sourcebooks and they're excellent. We haven't gotten to play any yet, but will be in a few months. I think they did a fantastic job. Dragonlance is much better off in the capable hands it's in now.

Oh, what sad times are these when passing ruffians can say "Ni" at will to old ladies.

I agree, the content and layout is great. The artwork and drawings really add to the flavor of the book. I'm not running Dragonlance now but if I was, there's a TON of material in the new books. I really like the War of the Lance book it gives a lot of detail on whats happening in each area of the continent. Plus adventure ideas for each town and province. Mike

I have a lot of customers who really like the books -- they tend to buy most of them when the initially purchase the campaign book -- so that speaks well of it. John

It keeps the same atmosphere, encounters, ... from the 2nd edition adventure. I can't wait for the Battle of the High Clerist Tower scenario in the second adventure!

The flavor of the setting is consistent.  The multiple eras of play are nice as well.

Mechanicly, 3.5 is good since the Knightly Orders and Towers scream for being Prestige classes anywys.

If you got the money, get the books.
