I have yet to see any details breaking down the contents of a Starship Battles booster or starter.

The Wizards site says simply 7 miniatures per booster.  Is it the same 1-2-4 (R-U-C) distribution as a regular Star Wars booster?  I counted 21 uncommons and 15 commons from the spoilers, which is strange totals for a 1-2-4 distribution (you'd expect more 20 U and 16 C)

Are the Uncommon Class 2 ships in the same uncommon slot to prevent you from getting three Class 2 ships in the same booster?

Also, What's the rarity breakdown of the 8 random minis in the starter pack? 2 U and 6 C?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, your got starter right.
But starters are distributed differently. There's 1 huge, 1 rare, 2 uncommon and 3 common in a booster. 1/3 of the huges are rares, so in case I believe you get 2 huge rares and 4 uncommon.

So the distripution is same as in D&D huge sets.

I would have liked to have more commons and uncommons in boosters, like the regular ones... (aka more fighters)

Actually . . .NO

Starter Sets have 2 Rare (Always the same two), 3 Uncommon, and 5 Commons.
Boosters have 1 Rare, 3 Uncommon, and 3 Common

At least with the two Boosters I've purchased.

My starter had 2 rares (the two "gargantuan" 4"base), 2 uncommons (which were both large size), and 6 commons.
