| I was really happy with the factory paint job on this guy, except for the wings, so I did a gradual lightening drybrushing, starting with red and adding a little more yellow each time. Turned out better than I had hoped. Also marks the first time I've been brave enough to paint a rare.

I've yet to tackle a rare either. I've thought about trying my hand at some of the lower $$$ rares, but there are a lot of good uncommons and commons out there as well as all the primered metal minis in my 'inbox' of minis waiting for paint that it will probably be a while before I try one.

Did the same on the front of the wings as I did the back...didn't see much point in taking pics when it was pretty much the same. I may end up doing some more touch ups to it and my other ones and I'll post 'em if I do. | |

| | I think it would be interesting seeing the front too, if you get around to taking a picture of it. The wings might look the same but I can't remember the front of it enough to see how the paint scheme goes with the rest of the front. | |
