| At first I thought it must be that the Fourth Edition ochre jelly was medium, but it is large just like in Third Edition. Then I thought maybe when it splits it becomes two mediums, but that doesn't seem to be the case. So why is the ochre jelly in the Against the Giants set medium? | | | |

| | It's so that you can shape a large one any way you like. If it's in a large 2x2 space, it can't form a T, or an L. So, they made them medium and common, like the swarms. :) | | Greyhaze's DDM Spoilers Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. | Medium and common seems to be a good design choice for swarms and oozes. Flat surfaces was a really good choice for swarms (which have to enter enemy squares).
Have to say I'm very happy with the new Ochre Jelly's design. | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. Commander (#32) in only 6 months. Where's my pie? Champion of Dwarven Thunderlashers Knight of the Large Dire Chicken Have/Want List Trade References | |

| | Speaking of swarms, wonder if we'll see more of them soon...I'd love to see a rat swarm and a spider swarm (one that doesn't look like red ants that is) that is flat, medium-sized, and common. | |
