| hello everyone,
since the change to 2.0, I have become a lurker here, rarely trading. In the last three sets I have only purchased a total of five boosters. I just wanted to ask a few questions, and throw some things out there.
1. everyone seems to have an opinion on the All-Stars text, but honestly I did not expect to ever get the updates. I have doubts that we will actually see all of the old figures updated, though that is the one single thing that would get me buying miniatures again. Until I can use all of my old figs with the new ones, I'm hesitant to buy more. Is there an official date for when the All-Star cards will be available?
2. Another issue I am concerned about is the cost of miniatures. For those of you who haven't been paying attention, we are currently experiencing the worst housing market, credit crunch, and energy crisis since the 1970s and the cost of living has increased dramatically. However, DDM does not seem to be offering a lot of value for the dollar, considering it is just an amusement, and a niche one at that. For players like me, those of us who do not have a regular game for skirmish or RPG, it just doesn't make sense to put money into the hobby right now. Why can't wizards of the coast recognize the current economic situation and offer specials or some kind of incentive like every other noncritical hobby is doing? As an example look at astronomy, and expensive hobby, most of the vendors are currently offering huge deals to entice purchases.
3. I have not had a chance to see strahd's updated card, someone please tell me he is good now?
4. how do I get an image uploaded for my signature on the left-hand side here?
5. last question, has anyone gone to Dragon con before? What can I expect if I go?Â

| Hello.
1-I do not think there is an official release date.In adition to this, all star is,comparatively speaking of course, a very weakened set.
2-You,re right.Price boosters and cases should go down at least a little bit.We are in crisis WotC!!
3-Stradh is better in 2.0 but continue being pure useless crap.

1. The all stars cards should be out in a couple weeks. The text is already been posted so you can see their stats. Some good, some not so good
3. He is ok. He needed a good bit of support. You can go to Wizards and downloaded all the updated cards as well as the ATG set.

It depends what you are looking to get out of the convention. It is not really a gaming convention (though there is some gaming). | |

| | I have not been to Dragon Con in a couple of years because mostly I have had to work but this year I might get to go. It's pretty fun but as mentioned not really a gaming con though there are a lot of gamers there. It's more like an interesting freek show. Lots of people come in costumes, Gwar usually plays (not sure though if they still do), Sci Fi stars of past abound and a big market floor with lots of whares for sale. | |

1. The cards will be available in a couple weeks. And all the other cards will eventually be completed. It just takes a lot of time.
2. Can't do anything about this. I'd recommend trading for pieces you want or buying singles.
