| Today my Ebay purchases for several miniatures came in, but notably I have these pieces:
Cleric of Pelor 4x Arcadian Avenger
7x Kuo-Toa Whip
Wulfgar 2x Warhorse 2x Eternal Blade
I'm planning to build all three warbands, but I'm not sure what to fill the remaining points up. What do people usually take?
I'm actually going to use these warbands to demo with. Of course, the person I'm teaching will be the one using these warbands while I would probably use some really random janky warband (Probably something with the Angel of Retribution or Exarch of Tyranny or some other really cool piece for looks rather than effectiveness; cool miniatures promote the game well!), just to show how powerful common/uncommon warbands are, or where even one single rare (a fairly cheap one at that; I got my Wulfgar for 2 dollars+) makes for a great warband. This would hopefully debunk the myth that you need to invest alot of money to obtain a great warband.
I would also really appreciate some other ideas for common/uncommon warbands, or warbands with maybe a single cheap rare or two in them that aren't only cheap, but also very effective. Something that is fairly cheap, and possibly something I could even give away. I'm rather certain that showcasing cheap-to-build-yet-powerful warbands would do well for promoting a game that is considered "expensive".
Thanks!

| Eternal Blade Astral Stalker x2 Wild Mage Merchant Guard Kobold Archer x2 Farmer x2
I played this band at the Ypsilanti qualifier and did quite well with it. It has no rares.

| Regarding filler, I'd say things like Merchant Guards, Kobold Archers, Goblin Runners and Farmers are the way to go for Borderlands.
For your Angels band, I'd think seriously about Militia Archer, Delver Sergeant, Merchant Guard, Goblin Runner and Farmer.
The Whips band can get by with about anything for filler, from Delver Sergeant to Rot Scarab Swarm.
