| Hey all,
It's a been a long time since I've posted on the site here.. I'm looking for some expert opinons here on some pricing. Here's the situation.Â
I moved recently, and have less space. I have an unopened case of Harbinger boosters that I'm debating on selling or putting up on ebay. It's just I'm not sure about pricing. I've checked several sites and can't find much info. Any opinions you guys have would be greatly appreciated. | | I need a newcastle... | |

| | Well I would guess individual boosters might bring close to $25 each, and with 16 in a Harbinger case that would be $400. I have seen EBAY postings for single boosters with BUYOUTs of over $40 a pop on Harbinger. While the prices of older minis has softened a little, old stuff still has collectible interest from many. Check out EBAY for some postings and see if anyone has actually sold those older booster/cases, look at not only Harbinger but also Dragoneye, Archfiends and Giants of Legend and see how they stack up. Those are all of the "first generation" wave of minis and seem to track each other reasonably well with respect to pricing. | | Built the addition for this addiction, now on to the "gaming table" project.... http://www.maxminis.com/hw_list.asp?user=Zenako last updated 29 May 2006 Set Status: in a nutshell = all of all In Process trades 0), (Sig last updated 05/29/06) 300 plus Completed Trades -

| Excellent, thank you for the advice Zenako.   I've checked Ebay for Harbinger case listings with no luck, but didn't think to try archfiends or dragoneye. Thanks again. | | I need a newcastle... | |

| | Yah I looked last night and did not see any. I know I saw a few Harb Boosters being sold recently with just Buyouts of something like $49 on them. IIRC they sold a couple but most went without a buyer, so I suspect that is the top end for now. A whole case is probably more than most want to spring for, but you never know. | | Built the addition for this addiction, now on to the "gaming table" project.... http://www.maxminis.com/hw_list.asp?user=Zenako last updated 29 May 2006 Set Status: in a nutshell = all of all In Process trades 0), (Sig last updated 05/29/06) 300 plus Completed Trades -

| | hmmm $545.77 for the case. Works out to 34.11 a booster. Not too far off on the estimate. ~$40 for a single with a 15% discount for case size purchase. Still not a bad return on investment for a few years...Nominal price of $160 a case new (assuming no discount).

| Thanks for the help guys. That wasn't my case, but it does give me an idea of the price range. I think I'm going to hold on to mine for a little longer, see what happens. I doubt it'll go up much more, but there's sort of a sentimental value with it. Or I guess I should say I'll hold onto it until my wife forces me to get rid of it. | | I need a newcastle... | |
