| i find that dumb that icons are on hold? The last icon set probly sold better then any so far.. It even won some award I guess it was on Enworld or website... If wotc got smarter they would just do more Icon sets like the last one? Put other minis in the icon sets to go with the scenario for that icon? Â | |

| | I agree Icons oughter have more than just the Garg figs, it allows play straight out of the box. Double-sided maps are also a must, but awards or not, I still see Icingdeath marked at 50% off at Hobbytown. | |

| If you have seen the Dragonlance movie (cartoon) you would know that this might hurt sales :-) It was terrible!!! :-(
But I love the Black Raistlin idea with Cyan Bloodbane as a garg. green dragon. Definitely a fantasitic idea that would sell. Consider yourself hired for a marketing position at wizards! Oh wait, I forgot I lack that kind of authority, sorry. | |

| Oh no, I'm totally aware the movie gargled donkey. But the fact that a) it was made and b) they thought it warranted actually hiring name-brand actors to do the voices ....means that someone thinks Dragonlance might still be a hot property. Either that or they're trying to introduce it to people under the age of 45 (joke).
And making a Starter set like the Star Wars Battle One? Jesus that's a good idea. I keep looking at that in the shop and wishing the DDM could get something like that. Orc Invasion? Dragon Leading Kobolds into Battle? I think the Icingdeath pack was the first along these lines for DDM and I hope they decide to continue it in the future. I'm a fan of the Icons, but if there's nothing there that's really playable beyond a huge dragon that's not fit for skirmish except under very specific conditions (seriously, who out there brainstorms what a 1000 point army would be like, particularly when you're limited to 8-10 pieces), I don't see myself shelling out the cash. The Drizzt/Wulfgar Giant Dragon Box? Didn't think twice.

| I love the blue dragon, I don't use maps or tiles. I love all the icons so far. A dracolich would of rocked!
Huge Green would be awesome if they went old style, sorry the horn nose is just wrong. | |

Plus you can ge the blue dragon map on the back of the Desert of Desolation poster. However, I think the worst icon is the Colossal Red Dragon. I think the gargantuan dragons are much more useful.

Auggie sells the poster with map on back.
Actually unless he has sold out, he sells the icons packages bit by bit (ie buy just map, wulfgar. dragon etc)

And hey, we need more Dragonborn! Them creating a core race and then making it available only in rare form is just annoying. I know a lot of the veterans are afraid of the new stuff, but if they're really going to have 4th edition synch with the minis game, having a core race really hard for casual players to get is goofy. Can you imagine if when Harbinger came out they only released two elves and made them rares? How angry would people be?
